For more than a decade, Diana Butler Bass has researched, written on, and lectured about trends and the future of the American church. So much so that Bill McKibben, in his article for The New Yorker (July 2021), The Unlikely Rebound of Mainline Protestantism referred to her as "...an unflagging chronicler of American Protestantism."

It all began in 2021 with Christianity After Religion. In this landmark work, Diana introduced audiences to shifting demographics in religion, exploring new connections between theology, practice, and community, while inviting her readers to imagine the future of faith in a post-Christian pluralistic world. From there, in her three award-winning books, GroundedGrateful, and Freeing Jesus, she continued with a deeper dive into what it means to belong, behave, and believe.

Why is this important?

Because now, as we are slowly coming out of a devastating pandemic and political polarization, Diana's work has taken on new relevance for our fractured country and churches.

With mature insight and updated research, she broadens her original work to explore current political, denominational, and cultural trends - offering a comprehensive three-day seminar for churches, denominations, and organizations.

With honesty, clarity, and wit, Diana will embrace your people and offer the hope and possibility we all need in these changing times.
