Jim Chaffee is the President and Founder of Chaffee Management Group (CMG), a company he established in 2001 to create meaningful public platforms for authors, artists, actors, and speakers whose work inspires hope and redemption. With a focus on faith-based initiatives, CMG manages a speakers bureau and organizes national conferences, including the Southern Lights, Why Christian and Evolving Faith conferences, The Liturgist Gathering, The Road Back to You Enneagram conferences, Breathe, and The Ally Tour. Under Chaffee's leadership, CMG has become a trusted name in amplifying voices that spark dialogue and transformation.

Jim’s career began with the Continental Singers, where he recruited, trained, and developed music teams for international tours. His work extended to producing and promoting music seminars across the globe, including in Colorado, Holland, Hungary, South Africa, and Singapore. These early experiences laid the groundwork for his talent management and event promotion expertise.

In 1994, Jim was tapped by Word Entertainment to lead their Myrrh Records label. During his tenure, the label released albums for renowned artists such as Amy Grant, Shirley Caesar, Fernando Ortega, Jaci Velasquez, Mary Mary, Rich Mullins, Michael Card, Crystal Lewis, Anointed, Marvin Sapp, Mark Schultz, and Winans Phase 2, among others. His leadership helped shape the careers of numerous iconic musicians, solidifying his reputation as a visionary in the music industry.

In 2001, Chaffee transitioned from corporate leadership to entrepreneurship by founding Chaffee Management Group. Over the past two decades, CMG has represented an impressive roster of clients, including Rachel Held Evans, Kristin Kobes Du Mez, Jemar Tisby, Diana Butelr Bass, Kaitlin Curtice, Ian Cron, Nadia Bolz-Weber, Mihee Kim-Kort, Donald Miller, Out of Eden, Lisa Sharon Harper, David Phelps, Jo Saxton, The Isaacs, Ian Morgan Cron, Sarah Bessey, and Latasha Morrison.

Beyond his work at CMG, Jim has served the broader music and faith communities as a board member of the Gospel Music Association for twenty-five years and board chairman (2003–2004).

Recently, Jim and his wife, Dove Award-winning singer/songwriter Solveig Leithaug, have relocated to Norway, Solveig’s homeland, where he continues to run CMG’s day-to-day operation. They are the proud parents of five talented children and three fantastic grandchildren living in New York, Tennessee, Connecticut, and Texas.
