President and founder Jim Chaffee’s 30-plus year career has focused on entertainment, management, and mentoring. The first 16 years were spent recruiting, training, and developing music teams to tour around the world with Continental Singers. During this period of time he also worked with Christian Artist Corporation in the production and promotion of international music seminars in Colorado, Holland, Hungary, South Africa, and Singapore.

In 1994, Word Records hired Chaffee to run their Myrrh Label, which over the course of his tenure released records for Amy Grant, Shirley Caesar, Jaci Velasquez, Rich Mullins, Michael Card, Crystal Lewis, Anointed, Mark Schultz, Winan’s Phase 2, and others.

In 2001 Jim left the label to start Chaffee Management Group, an author, artist, and event management company. Over the past 11 years CMG has managed the careers of Donald Miller, Out of Eden, David Phelps, the Isaacs, Rachel Held Evans, Ian Morgan Cron, and others.

Between the years of 1987 – 2007, Chaffee served more than 18 years on the Gospel Music Association board of directors. Additionally,  he served as Chairman of the Board for the GMA in 2003 – 2004.

Chaffee has managed and promoted tours and events in more than 45 countries, raising more than 3 million dollars for humanitarian causes. He currently lives in Franklin, Tennessee, with his wife, Solveig, and three of their five children. Two grown sons live in Brooklyn, New York.
